Mackay Launch

For those who didn't attend our Crowne Plaza event at the end of August you would have missed out on the launch of our new development in Mackay QLD. Royal Sands is the name of the estate and this is very appropriate as it has a sandy beach just down the road. By "down the road" we don't mean getting in your car. We're talking about a 200 metre walk from the estate's entrance to a spectacular and very swimable beach.

During the event Lachlan Grantley, from Consolidated Properties, gave us an overview of his company and displayed some wonderful pictures of the estate as well as some of the other attractions in and around Mackay. It was obvious to those in attendance that Lachlan was very passionate about this project and for good reason. Besides the strong economic story behind Mackay it has been reported that the rental market is equally as strong. Vacancy rates of less than 1% are always of interest to investors as are the high yields. Given that there is such a shortage of housing in the area, opportunity appears to be knocking.
