BRW is giving you the chance of a lifetime
to win a one-week internship with Harry
Triguboff, the man in charge of Meriton,
and one of Australia’s greatest
property investors. What an opportunity
to learn the secrets of investment property
first hand!
If you have done your homework on success
in Australian property, you will certainly
have heard of Harry Triguboff. If you
live in Sydney or the Gold Coast, you
may even be living in an apartment he
built.
BRW is offering three lucky people the
unique opportunity to work with Harry
Triguboff as an intern for one week. If
you’ve watched the TV series The

hand held projector and fifteen minutes
of fame on BRW TV and the BRW website.
For the lucky winners it will be an unbelievable
experience that will kick-start their
property investment portfolio, and it
will certainly be a week to remember and
talked about forever!
About Harry Triguboff:
Harry Triguboff was born in China to
Russian-Jewish parents. He was schooled
at the prestigious Scots College in Sydney's
Bellevue Hill. After a university degree
in textiles awarded at Leeds University
and a stint in that industry, he came
back to Australia to turn his hand to
various trades. He finally settled with
his own business, Meriton, in 1963 and
has been building apartment blocks ever
since.
Meriton is a company that develops apartments
in Sydney and South Eastern Queensland.
They have made use of the growing need
for inner-city accommodation in those
areas, and with their large capital base,
they don’t rely on banks to fund
their projects. In terms of price range,
more than half their apartments are over
$600,000.
Today, Triguboff is worth $3.7 billion
and lives in an apartment in World Square.
Since starting Meriton, he has retained
4,000 of the 50,000 apartments his company
has built.
His primary buying strategy has been
to avoid the extremes of the price range
– buying too cheap a property yields
too little profit, and buying the most
expensive properties comes with too much
risk. Quite a simple philosophy when you
think about it.
Already you are learning pearls of wisdom!
Good luck for your chance!
Of course, spending a week with Mr Triguboff
is not the only way to gain the insight
and support to start your property investment
portfolio.
